Loan Officer
Brent Clymer is a loan originator with a focus primarily in South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee, Virginia, and Florida. Brent’s finance/banking career began in 1997. Before joining Merchants Mortgage & Trust Corporation, Brent spent 14 years as a residential mortgage lender in Greenville, South Carolina. Prior to that, Brent was a commercial lender in the Home Builder Division for Bank of America in Atlanta, Georgia. As well, Brent spent time in Mobile, Alabama as a Community Banker for Wachovia Bank. He holds a B.S. in Communications from Ohio University. He is an avid cyclist, enjoys reading, and working on old cars.
