Brent Clymer is a loan originator with a primary focus in South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee, Virginia, and Florida. Mr. Clymer’s finance and banking career began in 1997. Before joining Merchants, he spent 14 years as a residential mortgage lender in Greenville, South Carolina. Prior to that, he was a commercial lender in the Home Builder Division for Bank of America in Atlanta. Mr. Clymer was also a community banker for Wachovia Bank in Mobile, Alabama. He holds a bachelor’s in communications from Ohio University.
