Vice President of Technology
Adip Dsouza is the Vice President of Technology at Merchants Mortgage and Trust Corporation. Dsouza graduated from The University of Texas at Dallas with a double major in Computer Science and Software Engineering and a minor in Mathematics. During his undergraduate studies, Mr. Dsouza represented The University of Texas at Dallas at the ACM Intercollegiate Programming Competitions. He continued to obtain his master’s degree in Computer Science from The University of Texas at Dallas. During the pursuit of his higher studies, Mr. Dsouza was published by Elsevier in The Journal of Systems and Software.
Starting his career as a help desk technician, Mr. Dsouza went to work at Real Time Resolutions in Dallas. While he was there, he climbed the ranks and became the Managing Director of Information Technology and Software Engineering where he was responsible for the oversite of operations of almost 50 employees. Mr. Dsouza’s team was responsible for the complete virtualization of the company and launching satellite offices in multiple locations across the nation.
Mr. Dsouza’s experience also includes managing the Information Technology team at Professional Finance Company. In his time there, he redesigned the backup procedures for critical applications. During the pandemic Mr. Dsouza spearheaded the initiative to move 100% of the employees remote within 4 days, helping to avoid layoffs and furloughs. During his time there, he successfully re-architected the hardware infrastructure to improve performance on all mission critical applications. He resides in Evans, Colorado with his wife and two children.
